HIGHLY ORGANIZED PANEL LOADING BACKPACK DESIGNED FOR TRAVEL AND EVERYDAY CARRY
The Prime Meridian continues our collaboration with Carryology, bringing Mars Project elements into this limited, 1st Edition release that integrates legacy specs with a glimpse into undisclosed next-gen R&D programs.
Drawing on inspiration and knowledge from our work on the NASA EVA research backpacks, the Mars Project 2.0 utilizes Challenge Ultra 400 shell and the EPX70RS liner proven on packs built for the NASA BASALT and Desert RATs teams. These packs were engineered to survive the brutal conditions of volcanic testing grounds, where acid rain, heat, and ash would destroy ordinary fabrics.
Built in our Los Angeles factory, which specializes in R&D, design, and small production runs for various teams within the US military, the Mars Project 2.0 offers a versatile carry solution optimized for both travel and daily transport.
The full clamshell opening simplifies packing of the main compartment, and a dedicated tech compartment with organizer pockets and a carabiner clip secures keys and other daily essentials. A dual-access front admin panel with vertical external zippers provides immediate access to travel documents, AirPods, sunglasses, and other everyday carry items. Additionally, a top-access, rear-mounted, padded laptop sleeve offers easy access and protection from physical damage and weather. Featuring US made mil-spec, matte finish YKK Aquaguard zippers throughout.
In partnership with Landspeeder® Systems, the Mars Project 2.0 is equipped with a next generation modular attachment system allowing easy and secure attachment of modules to the side of the bag creating an interchangeable platform for add-ons and future expansion.
Additionally, the soft and breathable back panel features a luggage handle pass-through for convenient airport travel, and the generously padded shoulder straps provide support and comfort under heavy loads.

Solo
The base bag is a full featured workhorse. Complete with a weatherproof, highly compartmentalized tech pocket, external access padded laptop sleeve, and dual vertically zippered front admin pockets.
Kit 2
Pairs all of the features of the base bag with the addition of two large side zip cargo modules. The two large modules provide an additional 3.5 liters of capacity and are great for storing water bottles, food, sunglasses, and misc gear. Side pockets feature one stretch mesh internal divider.
LandSpeeder® Systems
Next Gen Modularity
The LandSpeeder® System allows easy and secure attachment of modules to the side of the bag creating an interchangeable platform for add-ons and future expansion. The system is based around reliability and ease of use. Pouches can be added or removed within seconds. Just pull the hidden tab to release the Velcro and remove them. They can then be used internally as organizer pouches for your EDC and tech.
